We know that creating and maintaining documentation is a team effort. To make collaboration smoother, we’ve introduced Drafts, Page Status and Selective Publishing. Now, you can work on changes privately and publish them when they’re ready for the spotlight.

• Work in Progress: Edit and refine your content in draft mode and define page statuses.
• Publishing With Confidence: Choose which changes to publish and when.
• Risk Reduction: Prevent accidental publication of incomplete or unapproved content.

Maintaining the quality and consistency of your documentation is crucial. With Approval Workflows, you can ensure that all changes meet your team’s standards before they go live.This adds an extra layer of oversight, helping prevent unauthorized or premature changes and ensuring that your documentation is always accurate and reliable.

• Set Up Custom Workflows: Define who needs to approve changes.
• Control Publishing: Changes won’t be published until they have the necessary approvals.
• Track Progress: Monitor pending approvals and keep the process moving.

Keep Precision and Control with Granular Permissions

We’re excited to introduce a suite of features that enhance your ability to manage permissions and access within Supernova, ensuring that your team can work effectively without compromising security or oversight.

• Invite-Only Design Systems: Whether your team is working on a project not yet ready for public release or needs a space for internal documentation, you can now make your design systems accessible only to invited team members or external collaborators.
• Design System Level Roles: Allows you to assign different roles to users for each design system, this way you can ensure that team members have the right level of access to contribute effectively while maintaining security across your projects.
• Contributor Role: A special type of Editor where they can contribute and collaborate in the documentation, but don’t have access to the publishing feature so there is a more maintained control over what content gets published.
